write cache in BIOS and UPS battery unit

I see in BIOS, write cache is diabled.
Is it safe to enable write cache when UPS battery unit is attached to the box?

Do you have the host monitoring the UPS to automatically shutdown cleanly prior to the battery running out?

I set up software so that when power is cut off UPS to automatically notify host to shutdown.

If that is the case, then there is little chance of an incomplete write. The shutdown will flush any cache as part of the shutdown process. I would verify that the shutdown works correctly before enabling the cache.
