Hey guys
I know this is a common issue and there are many fixes being published online about this, however my external WD elements My Passport 1TB drive is stubbornly disk/write protected.
It's the same story as any other similar post, but the drive is fine on a different windows 7 pc, (I'm running W7 Ult 64bit) and no drives on my current pc are displaying the same issue. I've tried disk part, chkdsk, safe mode command prompting of the same commands, and WD life guard tools. I have full administrative access on my account and it appears not to have helped me regain authority over my ext hdd whatsoever.
Thanks for any help or advice you can give me.
