asus chromebook write protect removal: hardware done software not taking

trying to retain this Asus C302c (just ended updates this summer) rather than add to the trash problem by installing FlexOs. Got right up to the point of the foolowing terminal command found in a yt video :

cd; curl -LO mrchromebox.tech/firmware-util.sh && sudo bash firmware-util.sh

but it says cd command not recognized. if anyone has ideas what is hapening here please help , thanks. Dev

Forum rules prohibit assistance with removal of write protections be they hardware or software.

And it is my understanding that the Flex OS has been discontinued.

Are you certain that the laptop is certified to run Flex OS? E.g. Certifed Models.

dont know linux terminal commands enough to even know what is what but hey what can i do with ignorance? sounds like flex is not meant to revive CBs just PCs. ok well it was educational. when my laptop is crawling on its last toe options exist.
