Write protecting BIOS

hi i have asus P8z68-v-pro motherboard i want to make its BIOS write protected . i tried it by assigning a password to my motherboard but this don't provide me solution becz the BIOS was still writeable from the windows and even dont demands for the password . i want to make BIOS writeprotected becz i got an issue of sme malware infecting my BIOS plzzzzzzzzzzzzz help

You can not write protect BIOS, all you can do is put a password on it. Best way to deal with it is to get rid of the malware (never heard of malware that changes BIOS). Reinstalling windows with full format is one solutions then again there is an abundance of free malware/antivirus programs on the web.
