Write protection fail.

Hello,
Okay, so I copied files from my memory card to my computer and they were write protected and I didn't realize it and I deleted the original files and so now I can't do anything with the files and unchecking the write protect box in properties doesn't work. Can anyone please please help me, I really need these files!!!

Only thing I think of is that you need to be logged in as administrator to change the properties.
