Question Writing speed increases while charging

I was installing a 25 gb game on my ssd . The battery was 100 percent charged so I removed the charger but then I noticed that the writing speed went down to 200 MB/s from 350 MB/s even when the power mode was high performance on battery . I plugged the charger back in and the speed again went up to 350 MB/s . I checked the advanced power options but the processor was set at 100% on both battery and while charging . I was wondering what was the reason for this type of perfromance and how can I get maximum performance when the power mode is High performance on battery . The windows OS is new so there most of the settings are default .
