I've got a headset - the Razer Kraken Pro - and at the moment, Windows is detecting it as my standard speakers, and it thinks my monitor is my headset.

If you look at this image, it may be easier to explain:

The "Speakers" that the sound is currently going through, is actually my headset. And using the headset listed on there actually makes the sound go through my monitor. However, it's still the Razer sound, which means 7.1 sound is only working through my monitor (which, obviously, does not actually have 7.1 sound). Equally, I can't get the surround sound on my headset.

How can I fix this? Hopefully I've explained it well enough :)

Yes. But I just clicked back over to audio devices box and somehow the headset is now the default device and the sound is going through that. Issue seems to have resolved itself while I was listening to music!
(I guess that would explain why a few minutes ago the sound suddenly went a lot louder)

Thanks anyway. Should be good for now.
