Hi there,

I recently bought a new laptop and ran the CPU-Z (v1.77) on it to get more precise info about my GPU. I was expecting it to be one of the AMD Radeon HD 8600 M series. I mean one of these mentioned here - http://www.amd.com/en-us/products/graphics/notebook/8500m-8600m.

But unfortunately, it shows Intel HD Graphics 520. However, on the Device Manager under the "Display Adapters", both are listed.

Does this mean that GPU is not enabled? if yes, how should I go about enabling it.

Secondly, I am not sure if this information is helpful but I have installed the driver for it (AMD Catalyst control center).

Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Of course, I thought of that. But Display Device selection menu is disabled too. Please see the screen shot.

Also, searching the interwebs I found another tool, piriform speccy and the screen shot is attached for that too. It however displays the Radeon GPU but the temperature is way too high. Should that be a cause for concern?
