Question Wrong/old/not connected monitor shows up in CRU instead of the one I'm actually using

Yeah so, I was just playing around in cru when I kinda went out of range... I used my brother's monitor to reset everything so that I could use mine... it works fine I guess, but cru still displays my brother's monitor in that top thingy where you have all of your monitors listed... I wanted to ask how to make it show the monitor that is actually connected to my pc... instead of the other one that's actually connected... also, it's the only connected monitor

First of all, what is CRU? Second of all, after fixing the problem and going back to the old situation, have you restarted your PC at all?

Also, I found out that the custom resolutions still works even though the name of the current monitor shows up as the old one... for some reason... so I guess I can mark this as solved xd

if I knew how to do that, that is
