Wrong scale and blurryness

Hey guys,

I just built a new PC. I have a KFA2 GeForce 1070GTX.
I plugged both of my monitors into it via DisplayPort-To-HDMI adapters.

One of them is a Samsung SyncMaster SA350, which works fine.

The second one is a Samsung SyncMaster P2450. The image on that one is bigger than it should be and it all looks blurry. I fiddled a bit with the resolution settings in the Nvidia Control Panel and got the vertical resolution to work properly for a short time. I tried the scaling feature, but even with that it remains blurry as hell.

This is what it looks like:

I have the latest Nvidia drivers. My Windows 10 is up-to-date as well. I also tried using the DVI port with a DVI-to-HDMI cable with the same results.

Any ideas?

Greetings,
Pfaeff

Usually you see this problem on TVs used as monitors, not on monitors. But looking through the manual for the P2450h, it does look like it has an AV mode. It is probably assuming any HDMI signal is video, not computer output. Video is normally overscanned, which is what you're seeing - picture is slightly larger than your screen size.

According to the manual (section 3-5), you want to go into the Setup & Reset menu, and change it from AV mode to PC mode.
