[SOLVED] Wrong voltage on SSD - Can I recover the data?

Yesterday I plugged the drive in my SSD when I wanted to transfer some important files to the server, but I accidentally turned the connector the wrong way. When I did it, some smoke with terrible smell came out. I disconnected it immediately, but it was too late. It is dead now. Later I opened it and I think there is only one component burnt. Does anyone know how is it called ? Maybe it will work if I replace it with the new one?

Any help welcome.

Hi fzabkar!
I measured votage on the diode - it was 5V. After 5 mins i touched the processor, and it was warm.
Then I connected it to a computer to try once again it it works - and you wont belive me - it worked!!
I don't know why it didn't work when I connected it yesterday, but today it worked. I'm so happy now...

Thank you very much for your help!
Best regards from Slovenia
