WRT300n Connection Refused

I searched and couldn't find an approximate answer to help me with my problem. Then again there are so many similar problems it could have been overlooked.

Recently for no reason I can discern my router began to give me this error:

Connection refused: 192.168.1.1:80

When it first happened I went to another computer on the network which was able to access the router. Lately this has changed to no computer gaining access.

I have tried resetting it, shutting everything off then resetting it and other things I can't think of that were essentially useless.

I know very little about routers so I have no idea how to gain access to it other than the web browser accessible admin page. Any assistance would be appreciated otherwise I am off to the store to waste money on another router.

Did you try some on a wireless, some on a wired connection? Most routers want HTTPS connections for wireless, so try https://192.168.1.1

That was interesting. My browser received the ominous:

This webpage is not available

Opera's connection attempt to 192.168.1.1 was rejected. The website may be down, or your network may not be properly configured.

Horrid little router. Probably didn't have parents that let it play video games.
