Hello,
My router frequently (every other day) won't recieve a connection from my modem, the network connectivity is working fine between computers and I can connect to the router just not the modem -- until I reboot the router and the modem is 'found' again, there has been no fault with the modem and didn't need rebooting.

It seems like my router throws a tantrum.

I'm running Tomato Firmware v1.28.1816

What I would do is get a nice long ethernet cable and plug a computer directly into the modem for a day or so. If it stops happening, I would suggest replacing your router. If it keeps happening I suggest replacing or upgrading the modems firmware.

This is called an isolation test as it sounds like one of your devices may be faulty or needing an upgrade.
