WTB Top tier GPU AMD or Nvidia RX480,580 295x 290x GTX970 Through 1080

Looking to buy a Top tier gpu I would prefer a AMD but will buy a NVidia too looking for something like a RX470, RX480, RX570, RX580 or 290x 295x 290 or a GTX970 980, 1060 1070 something along those lines. Money in Paypal waiting to hit the send button.

Are you unhappy with the 980ti?
Userbenchmarks rates it pretty damn high, thats where I was basing my info obviously I know there's $1500 gpu out there, maybe I should have bee clearer, I'm looking for the everyday mans "top tier"

Corman65- currently I dont have a set budget but all I know is I refuse to pay over msrp for something hence looking 2nd hand.

Used = $940

I’d highly recommend waiting on the return of msrp. This crypto mining buffoonery needs to die.

I couldn't agree more, it seems like amd prices are higher % wise compared to nvidia too.
I feel like it's going to be like this for awhile since the mining probably isn't going anywhere soon.

Maybe with the release of both companies new line will drop the prices of the current gpus, I just don't know when amd and nvidia debut their new lineup.
