I posted this in CPU because i have no idea what the problem is.

I am using an AX8 mobo with an AMD 4000+, and Crucial PC4000something RAM.

When I boot up my comp, during POST, it tells me "running in dual channel 128 bit DDR 266". I have everything set to "auto" under the RAM settings.

Anyone got any help/ideas? DDR266 IS incorrect, right?

Ok so you're runnign in dual channel wich means the sticks are in the right slots.

Go in the bios and change the memory speed form auto to 400mhz, that should do it. It is weird that it wont run at the correct speed in auto mode, but thats not big deal...

Asus P4P800DX, P4C 2.6ghz@3.25ghz, 2X512 OCZ PC4000 3-4-4-8, MSI 6800Ultra stock, 2X30gig Raid0

Do as labbby said, try it disabling the auto from the memory speed in BIOS, but 400 or 2X200 is the speed for PC3200.

What does it say if you run CPUZ?

My a64 rig right now is set at HTT 215 with mem div at 1:1 which the post will detect 200 but CPUz detects 215.
