Used the 1060 for 2-3 months, I game primarily on weekends which for me is Friday through Sunday, few hours a day max on those days. So say, 10 hours a week for 3 months, 120~ on the 1060, not sure about the 7970, could use the same math and figure it's 2.5-3 years of age. Obviously a pretty rough estimate though and I'd assume even the 7970 has a lot of hours left in it, showed no signs of slowing down when I replaced it.
