Hello, this guide is not working and i cannot use update manager
Not enough free disk space
The upgrade needs a total of 427 M free space on disk '/'. Please free at least an additional 230 M of disk space on '/'. Empty your trash and remove temporary packages of former installations using 'sudo apt-get clean'.

If you've deleted everything you don't need as far as apps and such to free up some space, you can make your partition bigger by taking space out of a different partition. Do you have separate partitions for /home and /? If not, it's usually good practice.

To alter your partitions without reformatting, try gparted. http://gparted.sourceforge.net/ , but back up your system before you do this because it's always risky to do these things. Download the live ISO and burn to disk to boot from.

Hope this helps... Press thumbs up.
