subpar optimization has sparked significant furor among players

now if only we could all actually die on this hill as a whole the industry would actually go back to doing it properly...but it won't happen. People ratehr get shafted by it again than miss out on the fomo.

While it's shady to not just have "subsample" tick box, it's not a big deal, especially if this can't be replicated by other testers using appropriate hardware for the selected settings to ensure this isn't some kind of "dynamic resolution" feature, and if this isn't changed in the next patch to ensure it's not actually a bug.

Perhaps TH should have a rule that articles about Youtube videos of things can't be published until the author verifies the claims are accurate?
