WVC54G Linksys and Email

Does anyone have the email feature working on this camera? I have a
Linksys BEFW1154 Ver 4 Router with 1.52.02 Code and this camera
(WVC54G). The Version 2.7 Firmware seems to get further than the
Version 2.11. I can see the call to the SMTP server in the Router Log
but no email. After some 4 hours on the phone with multiple Linksys
technical support people the latest is that they plan on sending me a
new Beta code version that "fixes" some email issues in the next couple
of days. Any other thoughts?

I did at one time have the feature working. it seemed that after i did
the firmware upgrade to the latest one it stopped working. i also
called linksys and told me to try a bunch of things like change the
SMTP to the ip and fully reset the camera but still no luck. i tried
a number of different SMTP servers, and even changed it to just
sending a automated email instead of the attachment and no luck.. let
me know if you have any luck
