This is the thing I've had with Mandrake 8.1 & 8.2. (I haven't tried anything else).
Most www sites work ok except some like,4 example, www.linuxnewbie.org and many others. No matter what browser i use (konqueror,opera6,mozilla,galeon,etc)these pages are still "unavailable". The browser times out after x seconds or so.
I've also had similar problems with some ftp files when trying 2 download some Nvidia drivers 4 linux.
I am using Kppp 2 dial out and the kernel was the one that shipped with the distro, and another one recompiled by hand with all the networking and ppp and stuff built in.
If i immediately reboot in windoze,it all works well.
WTF should i do ?
