X1 in x16?

Hey, I'm planning to get a 2011 system soon, not sure what board yet but I'm planning to have Nvidias Kepler GPU's in 2-way sli.....maybe 3 but Gotta make dah more munnays. So if I have a board in a layout like, pcie 3.0 , x1, x1, 3.0...and a space (for a two slot card) and another 3.0? could I run two cards at 16x? like the first two 3.0 slots, have a x1 slot used with a capture card and have a x1 sound card inside the last available 3.0 slot without affecting the x16 x16 setup? It may sound confusing so one more time dumbed down, Two pci-e x16 slots used, running sli x16 with one x1 slot being used by a capture card. Can I use a sound card in a pci-e x16 slot without screwing with the x16 x16 sli?

Yes, most LGA 2011 board will allow dual gpus at 3.0 x16, and you'll start seeing a marginal difference between that and x8 x8 starting several generations from now.

That's not what I'm asking, I'm asking if I'm using 2 way sli x16 and a x1 slot, can I use another x1 card inside a x16 slot without messing up the x16 x16 setup? or will it make it 8x 8x or 16 8x?

LGA 2011 has 40x PCI 3.0 lanes and an additional 8x PCI 2.0 lanes, for I/O and such:
