X11 forwarding

Dear all,
i'll explain my problem first.
we have a linux server and i'm a workstation user.
we have couple of graphic user interface based applications which run on linux.
So far we have been using telnet to connect and access services through CUI.
is there any chance i can bring the GUI to my desktop as like mstsc on windows.

Configuration:
Altix server with SLES 10.

i tried enabling vnc on the yast but could.


Please help me out of this problem

You've answered your own question. Use X11 forwarding.

thanks a lot ijack.,
i've been trying the same way as it is in link.
now that i've been understanding that there is no gnome or kde or startkde in the /etc/bin of my server.
does this mean that windows module is not present on it. should i've to install it or freenx would do??
