X16 pci slot

I have a pair of 2080 in sli. It takes slot 1 and 3. Pci x16 is on slot 1 and 2... is there a way to use slot 1 and 2? ...is it worth the effort to attach a pci relocater?

This is the old z87 evga classified mobo.

If your GPUs are in SLI then the majority of the data interchange is over the NVLINK bridge. Your GPUs are probably WAY overpowering your CPU anyway.
