There are no 256MB X1950XTX's. But ATI silently released these X1950XT 256MB cards. No reviews yet, I wouldn't be surprised to see them almost always matching the X1900XTX.

see it says x1950xt....... not xtx. The xt is the 256 version that just came out.

disappointing. I enjoy the fact my cards cooler doesn't always run. In fact the system is so quiet at night I can sleep with it running.

Yeah I tried that once.

Didn't work, lol :(

Really need to get some new case fans and my DVD-ROM drive is bitchingly loud.

Currently the X1900XT 512MB is the best for the price. You will need more than 256MB for current and mostly future games.
If u want, buy the X1950XTX for somewhat better performance and abt 100$ more.
