Hi, just built a new system with an Athlon x2 7750 Black edition (kuma) and a Zotac geforce 8200 motherboard. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813500015 (Im not using the integrated, using a 4870). In the BIOS of the motherboard there a few useful Ocing options, but there is nowhere to change the CPU multiplier... What could be the cause of this, it somewhat renders the 7750 inferior if I cant overclock through the multiplier. Is it the fact that it is an nvidia chipset? that hardly makes sense.

Most people I've seen have used ClockGen by CPUID, which is temporarily not available on their site, I guess for updates, but you can download it elsewhere.

Just be careful, because if you mess something up and can't get into your OS, your screwed in this situation from what it sounds like, lol.

I actually just ordered the Mini-ITX version of that Zotac motherboard, which is basically the same but with 2 RAM slots and 4 SATA ports, and of course its smaller. I'll let you know if my BIOS is the same as yours.

It is the most recent BIOS I believe. I havent tried clockgen but I will look into it, I just need the ability to change the multiplier, the Zotac BIOS has most of the other Oc options. AMD's overclocking software wont work on the board because its not an AMD chipset 7 series or higher! =(. I shouldve known =/
