x2 Gigabyte GTX 660Ti OC SLI vs. x1 GTX 770 OC 4GB?

I currently own 1 Gigabyte GTX 660Ti OC (GV-N66TOC-2GD) and I'm thinking of
upgrading my system to a 3 screen layout (Dell U2312HM).
for that I'm going to need a hell of a system, and I can't decide what should I do!

Which would you recommend me to do?
Buy another GTX 660Ti and perform an SLI?
OR
Get the new Gigabyte GTX 770 OC 4GB (GV-N770OC-4GD) and use a single card layout?

I'm talking about pure performance. What will give me the biggest FPS boost?

Worth mentioning: I know the GTX 780 is a real beast, but I have no money for that so this is NOT an option.
Please do not recommend that.

You will need at least 2xGTX 770 for a good gaming experience using 3 screens.

so yes get one GTX770 4G now , and when you can buy another one , do it and SLI them.

2x GTX 660ti is slow for 3 screens gaming.

and you will need more memory as well , so 4G is better.

btw , 2x GTX 660 ti in SLI does not mean 4 GDDR5 , it means 2 GDDR5 in SLI. you don't add them up. they stay as 2G cards...

1- depends on the game. but yes you can play in Medium/low settings.

I like the Gainward Phantom the most. but it has one drawback , It is a three slots card.. so SLI would be a problem for some cases and motherboards.
it has very silent REMOVABLE fans , and good cooling.

MSI are good as well but I prefer the Lightning and it is not released in 4G yet , just 2 G .. it is the fastest overclock around with 2 huge fans and they run in two directions to remove dust from card.

EVGA are well known. but I never tried one to judge it.

you can as well buy the cheapest one and order a cooler for better than all , but the better cooler is around $100.

This is clocked the most, has more Texture Fill Rate and more Memory Clock,
However, I'm not sure if this fits to SLI, if this cooling is easy to handle, and don't know the cost.

I would go with evga period, I know they are a little more expensive but they are completely worth it. I've bought zotac, galaxy, MSI (the worst IMO, they jigger their clock speeds up and actually had a huge batch of faulty cards) evga has great support for returns and all that stuff. And boost is pretty much a gimmick meaning when your card needs the speed, it temp oc to a certain speed. But don't buy one brand over another over a minor 100mhz GPU clock, the mem clock is more important and u can use MSI afterburner or evga precision x to get 100 MHz. I prefer the blower units just because I do sli and don't want the heat blowing on my over card and in the case, they run pretty cool anyways, my gtx 660 ti sli setup oc'd stay around 60-60c so they don't get too hot anyways. But out of all the cards I've purchased, I prefer evga by far
