X2 Regor 250 to X6 1090T - Win7 reinstall needed ??

Greetings -

Not willing to abandon a build after only 2 years, but LightRoom needs a bit more kick,
so I'm upgrading the CPU from an X2 Regor 250 to an X6 1090T.

Will I need to reinstall Win7 (Home Premium 64)?
(Will it recognize & use the 6 cores without a reinstall?)

Thanks, Werner. Swapped it out the night before last, & doubled my RAM.
Did a BIOS refresh on reboot, tweaked the RAM speed, & voila:
a cost-effective, 20-minute upgrade that provided a responsive machine.
