Question x264 issue with diff gpus

soooo short and sweet ...i just upgraded my gpu from a 1050ti to a rx580 8gig power color red devil and my cpu from a r5 2400g to a r5 3600 i have 16gb 3k corsair vengeance running xmp windows 10 running off ssd and a 1tb hdd and a 240 gb ssd .... i have been tryin to stream with the new 3600 and rx 580 using amd encoder which gives me blurry pixelated quality when moving and ive tried x264 on fast and faster and medium to only get the same quality buttttt....i got so frustrated i took the rx580 out and swapped in the 1050ti and its crazy but the x254 runs cooler and looks amazinggg with the 1050ti i know i have nvenc i can use but its just frustrating me as to why the rx580 on x264 looks lightyears diffrent in quality ? if anyoneeee can help me ide appreciate it i just upgraded and to see quailty drop is just insaneeee

My guess is that the drivers for NVIDIA didn't get cleaned out completely as part of the swap to AMD. Did you uninstall the NVIDIA drivers PRIOR to the AMD install?

yes fully uninstalled all drivers and then installed a clean version of adrenalin 2020 and the diffrence is just abismal man im shocked i just put the 1050 ti in and im running on a free sync 144hz monitor using dp cable i limted frames on the rx580 i disabled free sync i tryd everything then i just got so frustrated i put the 1050 in and tryed nvenc it worked fine just needed to tweak settings obv but then i ran x264 and the quality was just amazingly better than with the 580 and the 580 is literally brand new i bought it from my buddy who bought it and never used it at all like once cards a beast it works fine im just stumped as to why x264 is behaving diffrently with the gpus

unless i didnt clan the drivers out completely but i went deep to make sure so idk
if u have any recomendations to try ill do it i just want to use the 580 cause it kills the 1050 in performance but i need to encode clearly so im in rock and hard place
