So on my laptop I have i7-2670QM with intel HD3000 and Radeon HD 6770m. I usually run it on power saving mode (Radeon disabled). Drivers for graphics are 16.2 Unifl from leschat and OS is windows 10. The display is 1366*768.
Whenever I run 1080P x265 HEVC videos, The CPU usage spikes to anywhere between 20-35%. This leads to heating up and higher fan speed and noise (Temps 65-70C) and a low battery backup.
I dont know much about video formats and I download x265 HEVC as the size is less as compared to x264. Is it normally the scenario that x265 HEVC will consume more CPU or there is something wrong in my case only?
