Hello all,

I heard that some boards (like the ASUS X299-Deluxe) wont actually let you do 1080TI SLI and M.2 SSD at the same time. Looks like the cards are too big that will actually block the M.2 slot. Is this true?

I'm building my X299 setup with 1080TI SLI + M.2 and would like to know if this is true, and if so, what's the best board I can get that doesn't have this issue?

Thanks,

Hi, You can use the M2.2 socket.
Check the manual http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA2066/PRIME_X299-DELUXE/E13088_PRIME_X299-DELUXE_UM_V2_WEB.pdf?_ga=2.154011003.2128277686.1501880714-1315763638.1494183834
