Hi All,

Not sure if this is the best place for this question but I hope so.

My X299 system has always had really slow boot times - about 2 full minutes to Windows log-in. It takes a while to post the mobo landing screen (which it does twice) and then I wait and wait while Windows loads.

My old spinner HDD computers from 12+ years ago started about twice as fast. It got worse after Windows update 1803 but has always been really, really slow.

My Laptop from 2011 literally cold boots in 3 seconds with a really crappy SSD that isn't even much faster than a HDD. My previous PC from 2012 with a SATA SSD cold booted in about 20 seconds.

Any suggestions on why my my newest PC boots so slowly?

Windows 10 64bit Home
ASUS X299 TUF MK1 (using latest BIOS but previous BIOS' had the same issue)
Intel i7 7820X
32GB Trident Z 3200Mhz RAM
Samsung 960 PRO M.2. Nvme SSD (512GB)
Nvidia Titan X (Maxwell) 12GB
Corsair AX860 PSU
2 storage-only SATAIII SSD's
4 storage-only HDDs

Thanks!
