Gents,

I have just installed three LG 34" Ultrawide monitors. I am also in the process of building a PC which will have a Zotac1080GTX graphics card. The card has x3 display port outputs and an hdmi. I believe it is possible to daisy chain the monitors using the display ports (multi stream) and using a single display port output from the graphics card. My thinking is it would be better to connect each monitor individually from each port on the card for reasons I am not sure, or they would have just designed them with one in the first instance.
Any thoughts as to the pros and cons of using a single multi-stream output from the card over using all of them individually?

Thanks

It is always better to use them individualy, the GPU will control them better that way. Also if your monitor resolution and frequency is high then 1 display port isn't enough for 3x 3440x1440 at 144Hz each.

i think i read that intel have a procedure that covers this
