[SOLVED] X399 AORUS PRO, Threadripper 1950x, G.SKILL 3600 MHz and XMP problem

Good morning,

I'm a new user - my name is Mawrecki. It's a pleasure to be here.

I'm a Scientists who is using Machine/Deep Learning daily.
I got a new PC for my job which includes all the components below.
I'd like to set it in such a way that it works with the highest efficiency and stability.

The thing is, that after XMP 2.0 activation in the BIOS, I heard three beeps.
Which mean I cannot use 3600 MHz frequency of my memory and I had to turn XMP off.

My set:
  • Gigabyte X399 AORUS PRO
  • AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950x
  • NZXT Kraken X62
  • G.SKILL 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL16 TridentZ - 2x
  • 970 EVO Plus 1TB
  • NVIDIA TITAN V
  • Chieftec GPS-1250C 1250W
  • MasterBox MB600L
What I checked by myself:
  1. BIOS was upgraded from F1 (01/10/2018) to F2 (16/12/2019);
  2. I checked Qualified Vendors List (QVL) X399 AORUS PRO and I see that G.SKILL and 3600 MHz frequency should be supported;
  3. I checked X399 AORUS PRO User's Manual to support Quad Channel memory configuration properly;
  4. I was able to changed DRAM voltage by hand from 1.200V to 1.350V and multiplier to 30 what allows me to set 3000 MHz without beeps and errors;
The question is, what should I do to be able to use XMP 2.0 and 3600 MHz by default without any issues.

1.5v is the limit for safe DRAM. 1.45v is the max I'd do personally though.

As NightHawk said, try raising SOC voltage to 1.1v. If that doesn't work try 1.15v.

If that doesn't work either, then leave XMP 2.0 enabled then manually reduce the memory frequency to 3200mhz. And test. If that doesn't work then go to 3000mhz.

1st Gen Ryzen had sub-optimal memory support. While Ryzen Threadripper has the best sillicon out of all 1st gen, it still doesn't match what 3rd gen ryzen can do today.

3000-3200mhz is usually the limit for 1st Gen Ryzen CPUs.

Yes. I have 4x16 == 64 GB.

I'm wondering if 1.40 - 1.45 will be too high.
Official specification recommend 1.35V.

Btw. after 14h of MemTest86 testing I got result:
