Hello, recently I started monitoring my CPU temps and it looks like they've gone way too far after I stopped monitoring them. I was monitoring them about an year ago and they were staying at pretty solid and accaptable temps, at about 35-40C on idle and max. 65C at full load. Now they happen to be 80-85 on idle and over 95 at load. I don't know what happened, I have a pretty cool and quiet aftermarket cooler and a solid thermal paste. Please help!

Edit: I've also noticed performance issues. CPU is kinda underperforming. I tried to overclock it from 3.8 to 3.9GHz and it worked but I downclocked it back due to those ectremely hot temperatures.

I already have that program. In AMD Overdrive thermal margin is usually at about 55C on all 4 cores. Right now it is at 52-58ish and CPU usage is jumping between 13-15%.

So I ran Prime95 CPU stress test. At a full 100% load, thermal margin is at 23-24C on all 4 cores in AMD OverDrive.

Edit: Now it went to 22ish. I'd say its at early 20s.

Alright, I just found out that the program I was using (Speccy) for monitoring was wrong. Thanks for the answers, now I feel fine inside and not worrying about my CPU blowing up in any possible time.
