x470 clicking sound when releasing the retention bracket

I have never built an AMD system, the X470 MSI gaming plus makes a clicking sound when i release the retention bracket when the bar is at the highest point when cpu is in the socket, is this normal? When i was taking out the stock cooler after testing, the cpu was ripped out of the socket from the motherboard with the bar still lowered, however none of the pins on the cpu look bent. Still worried about the click sound.

Yeah, most AMD sockets make that sound, going over 90° starts tightening pins again. Nothing dangerous, just a cam.
