Hi,
I'm about to build a new pc and am considering using an X470 instead of the newer X570. I'm intending to use a Ryzen 9 3900X.

I'm not overly worried about PCIe4, so not sure it's worth paying the premium for the X570. I would like to have a board which can take up to 128gb RAM. Budget is absolutely no more than £200, unfortunately it seems that most boards cost substantially more in the UK than the US. Options at the moment are:

MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max
MSI X470 Gaming Pro Max
Asus Prime X570-P

Not sure if those MSI boards can take 128gb? Retail websites seem to indicate it's only 64gb, MSI website says 128gb. They are both substantially cheaper than an X570 though.

I don't need a super fast gaming rig, it's primarily for photo and audio editing with occasional gaming.

Thanks all!
