Hello I have a b350 f gaming and I am considering to upgrade it my CPU is the ryzen 7 1700 I will not change the CPU to 2 gen so I think I will go and buy an x370 what do you think or should I go for x470 but I will give more money for x470. If I buy the x470 should I get something more ?? Or to get this something more you have to have a 2 gen ryzen CPU ??? What do you think let me know thanks!!

If you already have a B350-F, then (with a BIOS update) you can support a Ryzen7 1700 or 2000 series CPU.
Not necessarily ideal for the higher core count chips, but still compatible.

As for X370 vs X470.... It'll boil down to the specific motherboard(s) you're looking at. Some of the lower end X boards are barely any better than some mid to higher-end B boards.

A quality B350 board should be fine for any current 1000 or 2000 series ryzen cpus and will recieve bios updates for ryzen 3000.
Ryzen 2000 cpus dont have significantly higher tdps compared to ryzen 1000, so i would imagine a ryzen 7 2700 or simmilar would be fine in that motherboard.
You could try overclocking your cpu to 3.9 or 4ghz for a free performance only slightly behind 2000 series cpus.

I don't like the offset voltage this is the reason why I want to change what you think ?
