X5460 PC keep shutting down

So a while ago I just bought a x5460 moded on lga 775 ,but when I put the processor on the PC and start it up it keeps turning off (not shutting down)
Just that all thx
My rig:
400watt PSU
Cpu:E8500
Ram: DDR2 2gb x 4
HDD:segate 500gb 7200rpm
Mobo:ECS p43t a2
GPU :GTX 650 Gigabyte 1gb

Make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard. Make and model of your PSU? How old is the PSU? Considering that the board does not have an inboard graphics chip, how are you getting display out to your monitor?

It's on the latest version ,my PSU is from 2013,the board using a off board so no graphic chip and it got display but after around 3 minute it turn off itself

According to this website (https://www.delidded.com/lga-771-to-775-adapter/3/), your motherboard was not tested therefore probably not working for this mod. You can try and download the latest bios -> download Xeon microcodes and inject it to the bios. I have system with X5460 and GA-p35-DS3L, flashing the bios with the microcodes solved my "stuck on boot" issues.
