X550 power supply enough for gaming?

I want to know if the lms power X550 is good enough to be paired with a gtx 1080 6gb and intel i5 7500.
i am building a PC and have been given the gtx 1080 and the X550 (weird i know) but i dont know whether to buy a new psu or just stick with the one i have.

No way, that's dumpster fire, burn your house down quality.

Don't even try and use it for anything more than powering an LED light.

You need to get a good quality PSU, 550W is fine:

Seasonic Focus Plus
Corsair RMX
EVGA G2 or G3.
