x5650 vs i7-3930k

how about this two cpu in 2018? any cpu good for gaming, workstation and other?

Of those 2 the 3930K is far superior. But there are much better LGA1366 options out there. Workstation can mean just about anything.
There are faster Xeons out there and if you need dual CPUs, and can actually use 24 threads then the answer changes

I wouldn't bother with the H60.
There are several coolers here that will equal a 240mm AIO water setup.

are you serious, the 3930k is pretty much amazing for gaming if overclocked just a little bit, and the x5650 is too bad for 2018 , gaming or workstation the 3930k is hugely better and the 100 dollar price tag is too good to be a pass

edit.. i just looked into your rig and the h60 is not worth it, why not go for a 240mm watercooler for like a 20 bucks more cause you ll very much need it if you are planing to overclock that beast
