Picked up the combo for a really good deal and planning to squeeze more performance out of it. The lowest wattage psu i've read some guy use was a 550w, so im wondering if i can get away with a Evga 500w white to get a decent overclock. Aswell the guy I picked this up from said it pulls 450-500w from the wall at 4.5ghz. Previously i've been running an fx 6300 oc'd to 4.3ghz with an msi gtx 950 to put in perspective for quite some time without any issues. Along with this I have 3 120mm rgb fans/ controller, 1 ssd, 1 hdd. Any experience with this type of setup would be helpful thanks

What GPU are you pairing with it? Just moving the 950 over?

I would fully expect for an X5675 to hit 4.5GHz it's going to need ~1.4V and draw probably right around 200W (+/-) alone.

The GPU will play a factor, as will the quality of the PSU itself. The 500W white is not a particularly good quality unit to begin with, and that's before you OC on it....

A 500W unit? Most like ok. That, specific 500W unit? Not so much, IMO.
