x5690 vs w3690

I'm actually very confused, there are these two Xeons (x5690 vs w3690) and I don't know the difference between those two.
They are both Xeon processors, according to ark.intel, there is no difference at all, same power consumption, same clock speed, same socket... and according to benchmarks it performs exactly the same way.
So, what's the difference ? Which one should I take ?

Its all there in the ark page.

x5690 supports more max memory and dual cpu motherboards as well as Intel® VT-x with Extended Page Tables (EPT)

So in a nutshell the 3690 is for a single cpu lower spec server, and the x5690 is for a dual cpu high memory higher end server.
