Question X570 Aorus Master not powering on

I just got this in yesterday and put it in a new build. I went to power it on and nothing turned on. No lights lit up on the motherboard besides the clear cmos light on the side. I took out the 24 pin and plugged it back into my old ASUS hero motherboard and it lit up immediately so I know it’s not the psu. I currently took it out of the case and unplugged everything from it just to try and get it to power on and when I plug it in the lights on the far left side light up and then go dark and nothing else happens. So is there anything else I can do before I send it back?

There is also the 8 pin power connector in addition to the 24 pin. Please list your hardware components.

I plugged both 8 pins in and also took one out and left the other and vice versa and nothing happened. I have a ryzen 3900x with gskill trident 16gb ram, rtx 2080 super, Samsung evo ssd and a 1000 watt EVGA psu.

Yes it’s x570 Aorus Master.

There are diagnostic leds on the motherboard. I know you said no lights lit up, but double check where those leds are and confirm that on startup. Did you flip the power switch on the back of the power supply?

yes I looked through the users manual and saw there were four of them and none of them lit up. I just hooked the psu back up to my original build and it’s running as normal with no problems.
