I have an msi x570 gaming edge wifi, and when I open up Nvidia control panel there isnt even an option for 10-bit. I have tried on two 10-bit panels and they work with a different msi board I have, (in a completely different PC) but I can't get it to work with this one. I think it might have to do with a bios update, or something. BTW I have the rtx 2080 super and a ryzen 3600x.
Thank you for your time.

That doesn't have to do with the motherboard but the graphics.
You will have to use DirectX 10-bit with consumer GPUs...otherwise true 10-bit output only works with workstations GPUs like Nvidia Quadro or AMD Radeon Pro .
Professional apps (e.g. Adobe Photoshop) access 10-bit through OpenGL.
