I am in the process of upgrading my rig and I want to upgrade for a X570 mobo. My build is going to have:

3900x
Rtx 3080
32 gb ram at 3200mhz
Evga 850w psu

Im just not too familiar with motherboards in general and i see many options for x570 mobos. Some that are priced below 200, and some that are 300 dollars plus.

Here are the two mobos im looking at,

https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-ROG-Motherboard-Lighting-Heatsinks/dp/B07SW8DQVL

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SXFK1TP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_sUANFbHJZJ5ZP

Is there a big performance difference between the first one that is 300 bucks compared to the 2nd one that is 160 bucks? I'm trying not to cheap out on the build but if the 160 performs the same id rather get that one.

Solution
Because both motherboards use same chipset (X570), there's no difference in performance.
What makes the price difference is the amount (or lack) of features that each motherboard offers.
For example: number and types of USB connectors on back IO plate, number and types of headers for front panel, number of fan headers, wi-fi integrated (or not), 2.5G LAN (or not), etc. etc.
Some of these features might be important to you, some maybe totally useless.
