I have an asus p6t se and i was wondering if people know if i can get it working with a xeon l5630, i have seen this motherboard being used with xeon successfully, any thoughts.

Solution
Consumer boards don't usually state compatibility with server parts, but x58 was very robust, so I'd say get the cheapest x56xx series cpu u can find(...well the l5630 is already dirt cheap lol) and see if it'll boot, I don't see why it wouldn't as there are many forum success stories with that board. My old x58 sabertooth didn't state support for xeons, but it worked just fine, Just my opinion.
