X58A-UD3R REV 2 + 12GB = Not Working?

Hey guys, been trying to work out an issue with no results.

memtest works fine with both batches of 6gb at default config, however once I go to 12gb they will not work (lots of failures in memtest)

Have :

Ran memtest v4.1, all sticks were good. Runs stable on both groups (w/6gb installed only)


Tried changing bios settings but I am new and cant troubleshoot issues too well without some tips.


Any ideas?

Hi I know this is quite late and don't even know if you're still watching the thread, but I'm now experiencing the same exact issue. Both 6GB sets work flawlessly with an OC, but as soon as I use both together, I get stability issues. I've adjusted voltages, etc. and have gotten nothing positive. I'm hoping to contact technical support for some more info.

Have you found other sites with information?
