Hi,

I know error code 19 problems have been laying around the forum for sometime, and most have their problem solved via RMA's

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1689191/asrock-x79-extreme-code-error.html

But maybe, just maybe there's another way :)

Specs:
Mobo: Asrock X79 Extreme9
Intel i7 3960X
2x Corsair vengeance Pro 4x8GB DDR3 1600 type CMY32GX3M4A1600C9
1 Asus GTX TITAN at PCIe 1
1 Asus GTX TITAN X at PCIe 4
ASRock Game Blaster at PCIe 3
SSD Corsair Force SATA3 at port 0 Intel Rapid Storage
SSD Samsung Evo 850 SATA3 at port 1 Intel Rapid Storage

My X79 Extreme9 suddenly has the same problem
Based on asrock manual, error code 0x19 is when 'Pre-memory South Bridge initialization is started'

I already tried removing everything but the CPU, includes:
Clear CMOS
Remove batteries
Only one slot DDR3, then two, then three in (A1,B1,C1,D1 then A2,B2,C2,D2) order
Reseat DRAM, CPU, GPU, Power cables
Disconnect all SATA drives

Is there any way to check or disable the Intel Rapid Storage or Marvell chipset?

Thanks

Solution
From the manual http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/X79%20Extreme9/?cat=FAQ it related to memory, just one more try like they said, http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/X79%20Extreme9/?cat=FAQ "Please re-install the CPU and memory then clear CMOS. If the problem still exists, please install only one memory module or try using other memory modules."

And do you have the problem when you used only one stick RAM, even two? If you have the same problem after add other stick, like 3rd or 4th one, and you will know which one has problem. Also you may try test the ram one by one by using MemTest86 if you don't do it yet.

Thank you.

It seems that the south bridge connection with the marvell chip or the marvell chip it self had gone bust, and there are no way to fix it.

Thank you for your suggestion and Happy New Years everyone
