x79 motherboards disappeared from europe?

On the european website of ebay, amazon etc. there are tons of x79 compatible CPUs at appealing prices, but curiously x79 are almost nowhere to be found in europe anymore, just a few used ones in the whole continent resold at higher prices than the newer x99 mobos ??! In the US and chinese markets however there seems to be no such problem, europe loses again...as if we weren't pissed already by having the lowest buying power of the western world (south europe in particular)
What do you think about it?

It's all over, NewEgg one of the biggest e-tailers only show 3, believe they stopped production a few months back stocks have been declining for a while now, sorry
