X79 Sabertooth Boot Issues

Hello. I recently finished building my system. I know every part is compatible, because Ive booted it up before. When I boot from my SSD, it loads windows, and a few seconds later, the PC just turns off without any reason. I rewired everything, including the headers. The system worked just fine this entire week, but now something weird is hapenning. Please help! Could it be a protection feature? Im running a legal copy of windows 8.1 so I doubt it is.

These sorts of issues are usually heat and/or power related. What make/model PSU are you using? Also, are you overclocking anything (CPU, GPU, memory)?

Do you know what your CPU and GPU operating temperatures at idle and under load are (assuming the system can stay on long enough)?

Thanks for the response. Sorry I took so long to get back to you. It was thermal throttling of my CPU. I lowered the target turbo speed on my 3930k, since it was at 4.2 ghz, and havent had any issues yet. Thanks!
